Fajr Dua Bohra is not very different from the regular Fajr prayer, except for some additional recitations and postures. The basic steps of performing Fajr Dua Bohra are as follows:
Make sure you have performed the ablution (wudu) and are in a state of purity. Wear clean and modest clothes, and face the direction of the Kaaba (qibla).
Stand up and intend to pray Fajr Dua Bohra. Say Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest) and raise your hands to your ears. This is the opening takbir.
Recite the opening supplication (dua al-istiftah), such as Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghayruk (Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours, and blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god but You).
Recite the first chapter of the Quran (surah al-Fatiha), followed by another short chapter or verses of your choice. You can also recite the special chapter for Fajr Dua Bohra, which is surah al-Mulk (The Sovereignty).
Say Allahu Akbar and bow down in the ruku position. Recite the praise of Allah three times or more, such as Subhana Rabbiyal 'Azim (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great).
Say Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him) and stand up straight. Say Rabbana lakal hamd (Our Lord, to You is due all praise).
Say Allahu Akbar and prostrate in the sujud position. Recite the praise of Allah three times or more, such as Subhana Rabbiyal 'Ala (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High).
Say Allahu Akbar and sit up in the julus position. Recite the special supplication for Fajr Dua Bohra, which is Allahumma inni as'aluka bi-rahmatika allati wasi'at kulla shay'in an taghfira li wa li-walidayya wa li-jami'i al-mu'minina wa al-mu'minat yawma yaqumu al-hisab (O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy that encompasses everything to forgive me and my parents and all the believers, male and female, on the Day of Judgment).
Say Allahu Akbar and prostrate again in the sujud position. Recite the praise of Allah three times or more.
This completes one unit (rak'ah) of Fajr Dua Bohra. Repeat steps 4 to 9 for the second rak'ah.
After completing the second rak'ah, sit in the tashahhud position and recite the testimony of faith (shahada), which is Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger).
Recite the salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (salawat), such as Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahim wa 'ala ali Ibrahim innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala Ibrahim wa 'ala ali Ibrahim innaka Hamidun Majid (O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family as You blessed Ibrahim and his family. You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, grant favor to Muhammad and his family as You granted favor to Ibrahim and his family. You are Praiseworthy and Glorious).
Recite any other supplications or invocations that you wish, or follow the ones recommended by Dawoodi Bohra sources.
End the prayer by saying As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you) to your right and left sides.

Fajr Dua Bohra is based on the teachings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his family (Ahl al-Bayt), who are the sources of guidance and inspiration for the Dawoodi Bohra. According to the Dawoodi Bohra belief, Fajr Dua Bohra was taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to his cousin and son-in-law, Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the first of the twelve Imams that succeeded the Prophet. The Imams are the spiritual and temporal leaders of the Shia Muslims, who are the followers of Imam Ali and his descendants.
The Dawoodi Bohra trace their lineage to the 21st Imam, Imam Tayyib (may Allah be pleased with him), who went into occultation (hiding) in 1130 CE. The Imam appointed his deputies (da'i) to represent him and guide the community in his absence. The current da'i of the Dawoodi Bohra is Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (may Allah protect him), who is the 53rd in the line of succession. The da'i is the highest authority in matters of faith and law for the Dawoodi Bohra, and is also responsible for preserving and propagating the teachings and traditions of the Imams, including Fajr Dua Bohra.
The Dawoodi Bohra have compiled various books and literature that contain the text and translation of Fajr Dua Bohra, as well as its explanation and commentary. Some of these sources are:
Mafatih al-Jinan (Keys to the Gardens of Paradise): This is a comprehensive collection of prayers and supplications for various occasions and purposes, compiled by Sheikh Abbas al-Qummi (died 1892 CE), a renowned Shia scholar. This book includes Fajr Dua Bohra as well as other duas for different times of the day.
Al-Muqaddimah al-Jami'ah (The Comprehensive Introduction): This is a book that introduces the basic beliefs and practices of the Dawoodi Bohra, written by Syedna Taher Saifu
